A Simple Snow Day

Winter is my favorite season (sorry Summer!). When January and February roll around, Florida drops to the 40s and 50s which is freezing for us Floridians, but perfect weather. Finally, not terribly hot! A few days before Christmas this year I stayed with my family at my grandparents house to celebrate the holiday. My grandparents live in Chicago which is freezing, but fun to be in due to the cold weather. In today’s post I will be featuring my outfit from a snow day. Not going to lie, the temperature outside was 8 degrees so I was FREEZING my butt off, but the snow was too pretty of a backdrop not to take some pictures in!

For my outfit, I am wearing this gray v-neck sweater from the B.P. section at Nordstrom. I purchased it in November and have been wearing it non-stop! It’s so comfortable and can be worn over colored jeans, leggings, or skirts. It’s a very versatile piece and can be styled many times. I paired my black Hollister jeans with the sweater, which isn’t very interesting. My scarf I purchased from Abercrombie last Black Friday for 50% off, score! Living in Florida I don’t get that much use out of it, but I still love wearing it when I can! I always try and give as many details as I can on a post, but I’m unsure where my red snow hat is from. It honestly might have been knitted from my great grandmother. Either way, it’s very comfortable and keeps my ears and head warm!
