Recently I’ve been getting more into makeup. I’ve always enjoyed it, but never been spectacular at it. I usually use high end makeup from Sephora, ULTA, Clinique, or Estée Lauder because I see such a difference between drugstore versus high end makeup products. I’m also pretty fair skinned and most drugstore concealers appear orange on my skin. Over the past few years, I’ve figured out which concealers work the best on my skin. I’m no beauty guru, but I can tell when concealers are patchy or come off within a few hours. In today’s blogpost, I will be sharing three of my favorite concealers I’ve ever owned. Unfortunately, none of these are super inexpensive because they are higher end. If anyone has any drug store concealer recommendations for me, I’d love to try them! Let’s begin with the post!
No. 1 : Makeup Forever HD Concealer
This concealer I’ve been using for around four weeks and have fallen in love with it. There are so many shades to choose from between ones with pink undertones to very tan. This concealer doesn’t have a wand, which I don’t mind, and squirts out of the tube. The tube is fairly small and costs $32. This concealer is quite expensive, but lasts about all day. I will definitely be repurchasing this as soon as I run out. This concealer is carried at Sephora.
No. 2 : Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
This concealer is constantly raved about by beauty gurus and a lot of my friends. I liked it a lot, but got too light of a color for my under eyes for summer, so I use it to conceal blemishes. The applicator/wand is huge and great to apply the makeup. This conclear is definitely more full coverage than the Make-Up Forever one, so you only need a little. The conclear is a little tricky to blend because of its thickness, but is great for brightening up your under eyes.
No. 3 : Lancôme Longlasting Under Eye Concealer
Lastly, is the Lancôme Concealer. This product was one of my all time favorites for a while. I actually repurchased it! This concealer is similar to the Makeup Forever one, but I like this one less. This concealer is creamy and a little heavier which can make it appear cakier on the skin. Surprisingly, this isn’t full coverage. It gets the job done and there are many shades to choose from.
Thank you for reading this post and I hope that you got some new concealers to try out!
